Finalizing Tax Setup with BIR Revenue District Offices in Davao

Navigating BIR Davao: Tax Registration for RDO 113 A and 113 B

The final hurdle in setting up a business in Davao City is registering with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Davao City is split into two primary districts: RDO 113A (West Davao) and RDO 113B (East Davao).

Where Do You Belong?

  • RDO 113A (West Davao): Covers Poblacion Districts A–D, Talomo, Toril, Tugbok, Calinan, Marilog, and Baguio.

  • RDO 113B (East Davao): Covers Buhangin, Bunawan, Paquibato, Sasa, Agdao, Mandug, and Matina Aplaya.

Step-by-Step Registration Workflow:

  1. Apply Online or Walk-In: Register via the BIR Online Registration and Update System (ORUS) or visit the Bolton Extension compound.

  2. Submit Required Documents: Present your SEC/DTI registration, Mayor’s Permit, proof of address, and valid government IDs.

  3. Pay Stamp Taxes: Settle the required ₱30 Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) on your registration documents.

  4. Register Books of Accounts & Invoices: Stamp physical account books or register electronic books, and apply for Authority to Print (ATP) invoices.

  5. Collect BIR Form 2303: Receive your Certificate of Registration to display prominently at your business location.

Completing your BIR setup ensures your Davao enterprise maintains full compliance with local and national tax regulations.
