Received your SEC Certificate of Incorporation in Cebu? Complete these 5 mandatory steps within 30 days to avoid heavy fines.

Obtaining your SEC Certificate of Incorporation grants your company legal existence, but it does not permit commercial operations in Metro Cebu immediately.

Plain Text

SEC Certificate -> BIR Form 2303 (RDO 80-83) -> City Hall Mayor’s Permit -> SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG -> Initial GIS via eFAST

The 30-Day Cebu Compliance Checklist

  1. BIR RDO Registration (Form 2303): Register with your designated Cebu RDO (80, 81, 82, or 83). Pay the annual registration fee (Form 0605), register books of accounts, and secure your Authority to Print (ATP) official invoices.
  2. City Hall Business Permit: Obtain your Mayor’s Permit from Cebu City, Mandaue, or Lapu-Lapu City Hall. Requirements include:
    • SEC Certificate & Articles of Incorporation
    • Lease Contract for your Cebu office space
    • Barangay Business Clearance & Fire Safety Inspection Certificate
  3. Employer Registration: Register your corporation with SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  4. Corporate Bank Account: Present SEC papers, BIR 2303, Board Resolution, and Secretary’s Certificate to your chosen bank branch in Cebu.
  5. Initial GIS Filing: File your company’s Initial General Information Sheet (GIS) on eFAST within 30 calendar days from incorporation.
